Ralph McPherran Kiner (October 27, 1922 – February 6, 2014) was an American Major League Baseball player and broadcaster. An outfielder, Kiner played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Cubs, and Cleveland Indians from 1946 through 1955.

Ralph Kiner was a power-hitting left fielder who played for the Pirates, Cubs and Indians from 1946 to 1955. He led the NL in home runs seven times and was a popular broadcaster for the Mets for over 50 years.

At the time of his retirement from baseball in 1955, he ranked sixth in career home runs with 369, and his ratio of 7.1 home runs per 100 at bats ranked second only to that of the legendary Babe Ruth.
