Joseph Patrick Mauer (born April 19, 1983) is an American former professional baseball catcher and first baseman, who spent his entire 15-year Major League Baseball (MLB) career with the Minnesota Twins.

Joe Mauer is a former catcher and first baseman for the Minnesota Twins who won three AL batting titles and a MVP award. He is the only catcher in history with at least 2,000 hits, a .300 average and a .380 on-base percentage.

Joe Mauer is a retired catcher who played for the Minnesota Twins from 2004 to 2018. He won the AL MVP in 2009, the AL batting title in 2008 and 2009, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2024.
