Peter Masterson (born Carlos Bee Masterson Jr.; June 1, 1934 – December 18, 2018) was an American actor, director, producer, and writer. He made his Broadway debut in November 1967 in The Trial of Lee Harvey Oswald, playing the title character.

20 de dez. de 2018 · NEW YORK (AP) — Peter Masterson, the playwright, filmmaker and actor with a knack for farce and drama whether co-writing the Tony-winning musical “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” or directing the movie adaptation of “The Trip to Bountiful,” has died.
Peter Masterson (1934-2018) was an American actor, director and writer who adapted \"The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas\" into a musical and a film. He also appeared in The Exorcist, The Stepford Wives and The Trip to Bountiful.
