Rachel DeWoskin (born 1972, Kyoto, Japan) is an American actress and author who is a 2012 recipient of the Alex Awards. As of June 2022 she was an associate professor of creative writing at the University of Chicago.

Rachel DeWoskin is a poet, novelist, and memoirist who explores the transnational experience and cultural transformation in China. She is an Associate Professor of Practice in the Arts and an affiliated faculty member of East Asian Studies and Jewish Studies at the University of Chicago.
Rachel DeWoskin is the author of Foreign Babes in Beijing, a memoir about her inadvertent notoriety as the star of a Chinese soap opera, and a novel, Repeat After Me. She lives in New York City and Beijing and is at work on her fourth book, Statutory.
