Olive Carey (1896-1988) was an American film and television actress, and the mother of actor Harry Carey Jr. She appeared in more than 50 films, mostly Westerns, and several TV shows, such as Mr. Adams and Eve, Laramie, and Lock-Up.
Olive Carey was a silent film actress who married actor Harry Carey and appeared in several Westerns. She also wrote a short story and was paid $1000 a day by MGM for Trader Horn (1931).

Biografía. Olive Carey was born Olive Fuller Golden on January 31, 1896. Olive was 18 when she appeared in her first motion picture, a silent entitled, Tess of the Storm Country (1914). After she made A Knight of the Range (1916), she retired from films.
