Julie Claire Hesmondhalgh (born 25 February 1970) is an English actress and narrator. She is known for her role as Hayley Cropper in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street between 1998 and 2014.
Julie Hesmondhalgh is a British actress who played Hayley in Coronation Street and Trish in Broadchurch. She is also a founding member of political theatre collective Take Back and has a book, Working Diary, published in 2019.
