Thomas Meighan (April 9, 1879 – July 8, 1936) was an American actor of silent films and early talkies. He played several leading-man roles opposite popular actresses of the day, including Mary Pickford and Gloria Swanson. [1] At one point he commanded $10,000 per week. [2]
Thomas Peter Meighan (/ ˈ m iː ə n /, born 11 January 1981) is an English singer, best known as the former lead vocalist for the rock band Kasabian. He enjoyed large-scale success with Kasabian in the 2000s and 2010s.
Thomas Meighan was a silent screen star and matinee idol for Paramount Studios from 1915 to 1928. He starred in classics like The Miracle Man (1919) and The Racket (1928), but his career declined with sound and he died of cancer in 1936.
