Jeannette Theresa Dubois (August 5 – February 17, 2020), known professionally as Ja'Net DuBois, Ja'net DuBois, and Ja'Net Du Bois (/ dʒ ɑː ˈ n eɪ d uː ˈ b w ɑː /), was an American actress and singer.
Ja'net DuBois was a versatile performer who starred in Good Times, The Jeffersons, and many films. She also co-founded a film festival, wrote and sang the theme song for The Jeffersons, and was a painter and a community activist.
