Biography and career. Shedrack Anderson III was born in Hollywood, California. From an early age, his father introduced him to the arts. Anderson attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, where he received the Ahmanson Scholarship and Emerging Artist of the Year Award from PBS.
