Enrique Acosta was a Mexican American movie actor. He appeared in multiple films from 1925 to 1947, such as "Don Q, Son of Zorro" (1925) and "A Message to Garcia" (1936).

I am a demographer and sociologist with an interest in the analysis of mortality trends. My research mostly focuses on: mortality shocks (period effects) during epidemics and pandemics; influence of birth cohort and generation membership (cohort effects) on mortality; and behaviorally driven mortality.
