Patrick J. Kennedy is a retired American politician and mental health advocate, and the son of Senator Ted Kennedy. He served in the U.S. House of Representatives from Rhode Island from 1995 to 2011, and sponsored several bills related to health, education, and veterans' issues.
Patrick Bouvier Kennedy (August 7–9, 1963) was the youngest child of United States President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy. His elder siblings were Caroline, John Jr., and Arabella.
Patrick J. Kennedy is a leader in the fight for mental health and addiction parity, equity, and research. He is the founder of The Kennedy Forum, co-author of A Common Struggle, and a former U.S. Representative from Rhode Island.
