Anthony Christopher Hicks (born 16 December 1945) is an English guitarist and singer who has been a member of the British rock/pop band the Hollies since 1963, and as such was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.

For the audition, they brought in Tony Hicks to replace the departing Steele. Hicks played in a Nelson band called the Dolphins, which also featured Bobby Elliott on drums and Bernie Calvert on bass.

Hicks, de 68 anos, exercita a modéstia que sempre foi característica do The Hollies. “Comecei com 17 anos. Foi um hobby que deu certo”, diz, refletindo sobre a longevidade do grupo.
História. O grupo foi criado pelos amigos de infância Allan Clarke, vocalista, e Graham Nash, em meados de 1962. Em seguida juntaram-se Don Rathbone na bateria, Eric Haydock no baixo, e Vic Steele na guitarra-solo. Steele foi rapidamente substituído por Tony Hicks.
