Specimen-1294, also known as The Experiment is one of the Killers featured in Daybreak.
ACTIVE: DEEP TERROR
The Experiment burrows into the ground, hiding his red light and muting his terror radius while gaining a speed boost. He leaves behind a trail of dirt in this form. He can re-cast to jump out and slow survivors within a 20 stud radius. Survivors will also receive the Unsteady status effect, causing them to do gens 10% slower and vault 15% slower. 40s CD
PASSIVE: AFTERSHOCK
After kicking a generator, Aftershock activates. If a survivor works on this generator within 25s, the gen will explode and instantly lose 15% of its progress while applying Unsteady to whoever triggered it for 45s. •60s CD •Aftershocked: Specimen-1294 gains 50 EXP for each Survivor affected with Unsteady.

Specimen-1294 was only a baby when he was taken into a strange facility hidden deep in the arctic.
Far too little to understand what was going on, the creature spent his days lounging around and sleeping in a nest of blankets. His vision wasn't all the best and too many strangers came in and out of the room for him to ever feel fully safe, and then the pokes began. At first it was small, just a brief pinch that made him feel different. The woman who administrated them was always the sweetest, and each poke improved on his vision just a little bit. Specimen-1294 remembers the first time he could actually make out her features, her long brown hair and kind green eyes.
Even if he couldn't remember much, he remembered liking that woman.
That's why he grew scared and aggravated when the woman seemingly vanished, and the pokes got worse. No longer the little baby he once was, Specimen-1294 had no issues biting those who tried to hurt him. The first man he bit tried to hit him, and he showed that man why that was such a critical mistake. Two fingers made a nice little snack, and his hunger for flesh only grew from there. The greens he had been fed before no longer satiated the hunger in his stomach, and every new shot only made him angrier and angrier. Each new shot increased the pain he felt too.
His nails grew longer and his body started to feel sluggish. Patches of flesh fell off, hitting the floor with a nasty splat. Specimen-1294 is a creature of simple nature, and couldn't understand what it meant and why it was happening. But he knew that it hurt, and that was the last straw. He sat nicely while they poked him again, but then the white coat wearing man turned his back, and that was when he decided to strike. His body moved on auto-pilot, throwing himself onto him and sinking his teeth into the man's neck. He ate until he was full, and it wasn't until later that a woman came to check in on the man.

•The Experiment was created because of players comparing The Stareater to characters from the Hoyoverse video games Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail.
•The Experiment was in the Assault category for his initial PTS build, before being put in the Gen-Control category.
•While not created to be in a specific category, his abilities have deviated to be Gen-Control like.
•In its PTS build, The Experiment's placeholder voiceline displayed as "(screams)" when used in rounds.
