The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) is a drama school located in Barons Court London. It is the oldest specialist drama school in the British Isles and a founding member of the Federation of Drama Schools.
LAMDA is a world-leading conservatoire that offers vocational training and qualifications in communication and performance. It also produces and commissions drama, literature and poetry, and supports the next generation of artists and practitioners.
The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, in short known as LAMDA, is a conservatoire that has been training artists for over 160 years. The academy’s current home is in Baron’s Court, West London, the former home of the Royal Ballet School, where it has been situated since 2003.
