4 de mar. de 2024 · The MFA in Design at Rutgers University is an innovative program that situates a critical, experimental, and speculative studio practice within a major public Research University. Through close personal attention in studio and seminar classes, we enable designers and artists to develop and realize their distinct research directions.
Drawing on the resources of a large public university, the Department of Art & Design at Mason Gross School of the Arts seeks to cultivate a diverse community that values visual literacy, critical dialogue, experimentation, and the skills necessary for sustaining a creative life that can extend well beyond the studio.
These roots continue to influence experimental approaches in Art & Design. The BFA in Visual Arts offers concentrations in drawing, media, painting, photography, print, and sculpture. Students may also opt to pursue a BA in Art or Art Minor.
