Matthew Thomas Skiba (born February 24, 1976) is an American musician, singer and songwriter. He is best known as the co-lead vocalist and guitarist of the punk rock band Alkaline Trio, and served as the co-lead vocalist and guitarist of Blink-182 from 2015 to 2022. Skiba's lyrical content commonly involves dark romantic themes.

While there is no new ground broken on this album, it definitely stands out as his strongest solo effort to date. Matt said he wanted to do a more rock-oriented sound and he very much succeeded on this front.
