Joongdong High School ( Korean : 중동고등학교; Hanja : 中東高等學校) is a private school founded in 1906, [1] located in Irwon-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea. The school and its foundation were undertaken in 1994 by Samsung Group by the will of group's founder, Lee Byung-chul, the school's 26th graduate.
The Joongdong Educational Foundation (학교법인 중동학원) is a private school corporation that operates Joongdong High School and Joongdong Middle School. Founded in 1906 as the Joongdong School (중동학교), the Joongdong Foundation was brought to its current form in 1948.

中东高中（JoongDong High School，중동고등학교）是首尔市重点高中之一，2013年韩国高考满分8名学生中的首尔地区2名均是中东高中学生。
1906年4月2日由오규신(吴圭信), 유광렬(柳光烈), 김원배(金元培)成立。
1907年1月22日改名중동야학교(中东夜学校)

The chants and routines go on for 30 minutes. The highlight of this once-a-year event is when they form a huge circle together and roll their feet on the ground for the final chant.
