Burning Dorothy is the first album by the English singer-songwriter Thea Gilmore. It was released in November 1998 when she was 18, after she was discovered while doing work experience at Woodworm Studios.
Thea Eve Gilmore (born 25 November 1979), also known as Afterlight, is an English singer-songwriter. She has released more than twenty albums since her 1998 debut, Burning Dorothy. She has had three top 40 entries on the UK Albums Chart and one on the UK Singles Chart. Her first album as Afterlight was released on 15 October 2021.

Burning Dorothy [p] 1998 CD Shameless / Shame 1200. 2 Reviews. Musicbeetle May 16 2022. Where to start my trawl through Thea Gilmore's back catalogue? Why at the very beginning of course. I was hoping for a good, solid start and this album delivers just that. A very good first album which does not disappoint at all.
