Die Antwoord ( Afrikaans: [di ˈantvuərt]; Afrikaans for "The Answer") are a South African alternative hip hop group formed in Cape Town in 2008. The group comprises rappers Watkin Tudor "Ninja" Jones and Anri "Yolandi Visser" du Toit, a male/female duo, and producers HITEK5000 and Lil2Hood.
You quickly become a band member if you're identified. If you want to produce music for a host of different artists, some of which won't want to be affiliated with die antwoord, you're gonna have a lot of trouble if your face is on every album cover and you're sitting in on the interviews.
Bio. Justin de Nobrega, a.k.a. HITEK5000 (formerly DJ Hi-Tek or God) is a South African musician and producer best known as the third member of Die Antwoord. He joined the group in 2009 and is responsible for producing the group's unique electronic beats and soundscapes.
