14 de nov. de 2011 · Book 5 of Fritz Leiber's Farhrd & Grey Mouser books. I think it's the only one of the "swords" books that isn't a fix-up and where you would think that would make it appealing it really proves Leiber's excellence as a short story writer.

The Swords of Lankhmar is a fantasy novel, first published 1968, by Fritz Leiber, featuring his sword and sorcery heroes Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser. It is chronologically the fifth volume of the complete seven volume edition of the collected stories devoted to the characters.
In this adventure the Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser are hired by Glipkerio Kistomerces, lord of Lankhmar, to escort a fleet of ships laden with grain that will be offered to Movarl of Eight City, as compensation for hold off Mingol.
