11 de mar. de 2024 · Cenobites in Hellraiser are unique demons intertwined with pain and pleasure, evolving with each installment since 1987. From Pinhead to lesser-known cenobites, each character showcases grotesque designs blending flesh, leather, and metal.
The Cenobites are fictional, extra-dimensional, and seemingly demonic beings who appear in the works of Clive Barker. Introduced in Barker's 1986 novella The Hellbound Heart, they also appear in its sequel novel The Scarlet Gospels, the Hellraiser films, and in Hellraiser comic books published (intermittently) between 1987 and 2017.
The cenobites were the main inspiration for the kytons or velstracs, a race of pain-obsessed outsiders (beings from a plane of existence other than the Prime Material) in the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.
The Cenobites are extra-dimensional beings who are mutilated and brainwashed into torturing humans for all eternity in the Labyrinth. All Cenobites were once human, with the exception of Angelique, the daughter of the demon god Leviathan.

The Cenobites in The Hellbound Heart are unnamed, except for one who appears to be a leader, and is called the Engineer. One of the Cenobites is described as having jeweled pins and a grid pattern decorating its head.
