The Crozer Theological Seminary was a Baptist seminary located in Upland, Pennsylvania, and founded in 1868. It was named after the wealthy industrialist, John Price Crozer .
October 2, 1868 to May 28, 1970. After completing his undergraduate work at Morehouse College in 1948, Martin Luther King attended Crozer Theological Seminary near Chester, Pennsylvania. King was drawn to the school’s unorthodox reputation and liberal theological leanings.
Bexley Hall was an Episcopal seminary from 1824 until April 27, 2013, when it federated with Seabury-Western Theological Seminary as Bexley Hall Seabury-Western Theological Seminary Federation, also known as Bexley Seabury.
The Crozer Seminary Years. As an undergraduate at Morehouse College, Martin Luther King Jr. was never a strong student. He preferred to party and use his college years to hone his oratorical skills. But when he arrived at Crozer Theological Seminary, King quickly got down to work.

History of Bexley Seabury Seminary. Bexley Seabury Seminary was formed in 2012 through the federation of Bexley Hall Seminary in Columbus, Ohio and Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois.
In this paper we shall discuss the experiences of early Christians which lead to three rather orthodox doctrines—the divine sonship of Jesus, the virgin birth, and the bodily resurrection. Each of these doctrines is enshrined in what is known as “the Apostles’ Creed.”.
