Apartment Life is the second studio album by American band Ivy, released by Atlantic Records on October 6, 1997. After being dropped from Seed Records following the release of Realistic in 1995, the group signed to Atlantic due to connections that Adam Schlesinger had with the record label.

James Yoshinobu Iha (伊葉吉伸, Iha Yoshinobu) (born March 26, 1968) is an American rock musician. He is best known as a guitarist and co-founder of the alternative rock band the Smashing Pumpkins. He was a member until the band's initial breakup in 2000 and rejoined in 2018.

James Yoshinobu Iha was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 26, 1968. He has been in several bands before the Pumpkins, including the Feds, and Snake Train. He met Billy Corgan in 1988 and proceeded to form the roots of the band we now know as the Smashing Pumpkins.
3 de mar. de 2023 · Guest musicians included Dean Wareham of Luna, Jody Porter from Fountains of Wayne, and James Iha of Smashing Pumpkins. While James is known for playing guitar, he surprised the band by improvising vocals at the end of the album’s gorgeous closing track “Back in Our Town.”
