Formed in 1995, Save Ferris remains one of the seminal and most beloved bands from the third wave of ska. The group’s Orange County home was fertile ground for a thriving music scene, with punk, rock, and ska emerging from the region.
Los Pantalones members Brian Mashburn (guitar/vocals), Bill Uechi (bass), Eric Zamora (saxophone), and José Castellaños (trumpet) joined with singer Adrienne Nolff, Nuckle Brothers trombonist Jesse Tunnell, and drummer Steve Cordero[5] to form the original Save Ferris.

1 de nov. de 2023 · Save Ferris, now led by Powell, went on indefinite hiatus from 2003 until the spring of 2013, in which Powell once again regrouped and headlined the Pacific Amphitheatre in Orange County, CA to a sold out audience of over 7,000 fans, and another sold out show at the El Rey theater in Los Angeles.
