In 1986, Urs Bühler was appointed CEO of Bühler in Uzwil, Switzerland. He handed over the executive management duties of the company to Calvin Grieder at the beginning of 2001. Urs Bühler was a Member of the Board since 1981, from 1991 as its Vice Chairman and from 1994 to 2014 as its Chairman.
