Shaka King (born March 7, 1980) is an American film director, screenwriter, and film producer. He is best known for directing and co-writing the 2021 biopic Judas and the Black Messiah.
Shaka King is a Brooklyn-born filmmaker who has directed and written movies and TV shows such as Judas and the Black Messiah, Newlyweeds, and High Maintenance. He has been nominated for two Oscars and won several awards for his work.
