Henry Neville, 5th Earl of Westmorland (1525–Aug 1563) was an English peer, member of the House of Lords and Knight of the Garter . Life. He was born in 1525, the eldest son of Ralph Neville, 4th Earl of Westmorland and his wife, Katherine Stafford.

He inherited the earldom from Ralph Neville, 4th Earl of Westmorland and was succeeded by his son Charles Neville, 6th Earl of Westmorland. He married Anne Manners, daughter of Thomas Manners, 1st Earl of Rutland.
William Neville, the son of Ralph Neville, 1st Earl of Westmorland, married Joan Fauconberg, daughter of Thomas de Fauconberg, 5th Baron Fauconberg, and became Baron Fauconberg jure uxoris. Abeyant on his death in 1463.
He succeeded to the title of 5th Lord Neville [E., 1459]; 8th Lord Neville of Raby [E., 1295] and 5th Earl of Westmorland [E., 1397] on 24 Apr 1549. He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) before 26 Feb 1550/1.

HENRY NEVILLE, fifth Earl or Westmorland, [Son of Ralph Neville, fourth Earl], was born in 1525. 1 He was knighted in 1544, succeeded to the title in 1550, held a commission to divide the debatable land between England and Scotland in 1551, was a privy councillor probably in 1552, and ambassador to Scotland in the same year.
