Mikhail Vasilyevich Frunze (em russo: Михаи́л Васи́льевич Фру́нзе) (Pishpek, 2 de fevereiro [Calend. juliano: 21 de janeiro] 1885 – Moscou, 31 de outubro de 1925) foi um líder bolchevique durante a Revolução Russa de 1917 e comandante do Exército Vermelho durante a Guerra Civil Russa. [1]
The academy is located in Moscow, on 14 Kholzunova Lane. It was founded in 1936 as a Soviet institution, based on higher command courses that had been established at the M. V. Frunze Military Academy, itself founded in 1918. An earlier General Staff Academy had existed during the Imperial period, since 1832.
Until 1931, Frunze was a school teach- ing aeneaal staff, as well as staff, subjects. In that year its level was lOwG. to that of a school instructing staff officers, with a resultant decrease in emphasis on such subjects as military geography and miliaary history.

14 de mai. de 2024 · On 21 February 1945 the academy was awarded the Order of Suvorov First Class by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, and became the Red Banner Order of Lenin and Order of Suvorov First Class Military Academy named after M.V. Frunze.
