On Her Majesty's Secret Service is the sixth film in the James Bond film series, and the only Bond film to star George Lazenby in the main role. It was released in 1969 and was a critical and commercial success but Lazenby felt Bond would soon be outdated so he stepped out of his 7-film contract.

Fleming changed the formula and structure from the previous novel, The Spy Who Loved Me , and made a determined effort to produce a work that adhered to his tried and tested format.
James Bond goes undercover to stop Blofeld's plan to distribute a deadly allergy agent. He falls in love with Tracy, the daughter of a crime boss, and faces a dilemma between his mission and his heart.
