Maria von Wedemeyer-Weller (23 April 1924 – 16 November 1977) was an American computer scientist, who emigrated from Germany to the US after the Second World War. She was known in the field of computer science for her role in developing emulation capability.
Maria Friederike von Wedemeyer, ab 1949 verheiratete Maria Schniewind, ab 1959 verheiratete Maria Weller, war eine deutsche Informatikerin und Managerin, die heute vor allem als Verlobte des evangelischen Theologen und Widerstandskämpfers gegen den Nationalsozialismus Dietrich Bonhoeffer bekannt ist.
Maria von Wedemeyer was a German-born mathematician who corresponded with Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a pastor and resistance leader, during World War II. She immigrated to the US, worked as an engineer, and donated their letters to Harvard University.
