Deep Springs College is a small and selective liberal arts college in California that combines academic rigor, manual labor, and self-governance. Founded in 1917 by L.L. Nunn, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious manual labor colleges in the US and admits both men and women.
19 de set. de 2024 · Deep Springs College has opened its search for the position of College Dean to begin in June of 2025. The academic pillar of Deep Springs is deliberately dynamic. Its three long-term chairs have three-year terms renewable up to a maximum of six years.
The application process begins in early fall. For the first part of the application, we will ask you to write several essays, describe your extra-academic interests and activities, and submit your grades. Test scores are not required, but applicants may still submit them.
Deep Springs College is a private, non-profit college that offers an associate's degree in the liberal arts and a full scholarship for two years. Students live and work on a self-sustaining ranch and farm in the High Desert and transfer to a four-year institution after graduation.
