Trama. Quando criança, Chun-Li muda-se de São Francisco para Hong Kong com a família. Lá, junto com o piano, ela aprende Wushu com seu pai, Xiang (Edmund Chen), um empresário bem relacionado. Uma noite, sua casa é atacada por Bison e seu braço direito, Balrog. Xiang luta contra eles até que Balrog agarra o jovem Chun-Li, forçando-o a se render.
