Esther Waters is a British period television series which originally aired on BBC 2 in four episodes from 14 November to 5 December 1964. In 1964 the BBC produced a four-part miniseries of Esther Waters, with Meg Wynn Owen in the title role. A further television adaptation Esther Waters aired on the BBC in 1977, featuring Gabrielle Lloyd as Waters.
