P. V. Ramana. Pusarla Venkata Ramana is a former professional volleyball player and an employee of Indian Railways in Secunderabad. He was a member of the India men's national volleyball team. In the 1986 Asian Games, he was part of the team that won a bronze medal. [2]

P V Ramana Arjuna Award Recipient - Volleyball Player Pusarla Venkata Ramana, who hails from Nirmal District, Telangana, is a former member of the Indian national volleyball team. He worked for Indian Railways in Secunderabad and was part of the team that clinched a bronze medal in the 1986 Asian Games.
P V Ramana was Research Fellow at IDSA. A student of South Asian studies, he works on the Naxalite-Maoist movement in India. He was awarded MPhil in 1996, and PhD in 1999 by Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
