The Cure is a British rock band formed in 1976 by Robert Smith. Jason Cooper joined the band in 1995 as the drummer, replacing Boris Williams.
Porl Thompson left the band to tour with Page and Plant and was not replaced, while Boris Williams quit and was replaced by new drummer Jason Cooper (formerly of My Life Story). After a four-year absence, Roger O'Donnell returned to play keyboards.
