David Hidalgo Jr. (born August 30, 1984) is an American drummer who plays in the punk rock band Social Distortion.

Dave was born in Los Angeles, California, and started playing drums at the age of four by doing shuffles on a snare drum while his father played along. His dad, David Hidalgo Sr., is the singer and guitarist for Los Lobos and introduced Dave to many different types of music from a very young age.
David Kent Hidalgo (born October 6, 1954, in Los Angeles) is an American singer-songwriter, best known for his work with the band Los Lobos. Hidalgo frequently plays musical instruments such as accordion, violin, 6-string banjo, cello, requinto jarocho, percussion, drums and guitar as a session musician on other artists' releases.
