Lola Van Wagenen (born December 19, 1938) is an American historian and activist. In 1970, she co-founded Consumer Action Now (CAN), a non-profit educational organization, and in 1995 co-founded Clio Visualizing History, Inc. to promote history education.

Born into a Mormon family, Lola grew up to become a socially conscious young lady who believed in advocating for causes related to the environment, energy conservation, and women’s rights.
Lola Van Wagenen has been appointed to a variety of national organizations and committees that work on behalf of women, children, history, and the environment. She has served as a commissioner for United Nations International Year of the Child, a board member for the U.S. Committee for UNICEF, and a board member for the National Audubon Society.
