Jökull Júlíusson (born 20 March 1990) is an Icelandic singer-songwriter, best known as the lead singer of Kaleo. He gained national fame for covering the song "Vor í Vaglaskógi" with Kaleo in 2013. Early life. Jökull was born in Reykjavík and spent his first years there and in Mosfellsbær.
It consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Jökull Júlíusson, drummer David Antonsson, bassist Daniel Kristjansson, lead guitarist Rubin Pollock and harmonicist Þorleifur Gaukur Davíðsson. They have released three studio albums, Kaleo (2013), A/B (2016), and Surface Sounds (2021), [1] as well as the EP Glasshouse (2013).
