  1. Lillie Connolly (née Reynolds; 1867 or 1868 – 22 January 1938) was an Irish socialist and trade union organiser. She was the wife of James Connolly, the Irish revolutionary who was involved in the 1916 Easter Rising.

  5. James Connolly and his wife Lillie had seven children. The eldest, Mona, died on the eve of the family's departure to join Connolly in America in 1904 at the age of 13, the result of an accident with scalding laundry water.

  6. A native of Co. Wicklow, Lillie Reynolds worked as a domestic servant in Dublin and met James Connolly whilst the latter was serving in Ireland with the British Army. They became engaged in 1888 and married in Perth, Scotland, two years later.
