Elizabeth Greville, Countess of Warwick (22 August 1720 – 24 February 1800), formerly Elizabeth Hamilton, was the wife of Francis Greville, 1st Earl of Warwick, who was restored to the earldom of Warwick by King George III of the United Kingdom in 1760.

Skipping forward several generations, we come to Francis Greville (1719-1773) who inherited Warwick Castle and the title of 8 th Baron Brooke following the death of his father in 1727. He married Elizabeth Hamilton (1720-1800) in 1742.
He had already been created Viscount Lisle in right of his deceased mother, Elizabeth Grey, in 1543, and was made Earl of Warwick in the Peerage of England in 1547. In 1551 he was further honoured when he was created Duke of Northumberland .
