Youth programs include tutoring and homework help, summer camps for children ages 7-13 years old, internships, and AMP career and mentorship program for youth and young adults ages 14-24 in Franklin County.
Youth Orchestra. Central Ohio’s aspiring young instrumentalists in grades 9-12 perform in this ensemble directed by Associate Conductor of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Andrés Lopera. The 88-member orchestra has students from 19 high schools in nine counties.

In your own power. This intentional, expressive community is youth-informed and youth-led. Meaning everything you'll find in our center is designed for and by young people like you. Our diverse, experienced staff work alongside queer youth to create free programming, housing, and support services here in Columbus, and all over the state of Ohio.
Ohio Avenue Youth Center. 657 South Ohio Avenue. Columbus, OH 43205. 614-258-8043. School year hours: 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Structured activities during the time of day when risk for youth’s involvement in delinquent behavior is highest. Summer Program hours: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
