Echo Beach is a British soap opera created by Tony Jordan which broadcast on ITV from 10 January to 21 March 2008, lasting only one series of twelve episodes. It stars Martine McCutcheon , Jason Donovan and Hugo Speer , and is set in the fictional Cornish coastal town of Polnarren. [1]

Moving Wallpaper is a British satirical comedy-drama television series set in a TV production unit. It ran on ITV for two series in 2008–09. The subject of the first series was the production of a soap called Echo Beach, each episode of which aired directly after the Moving Wallpaper episode about its production.
January 10, 2008. Cornish sea resort Polanrren's popular stud Jimmy Penwarden promises his romantically desperate buddy Charlie Morgan 'first call' on the first new girl in town. Motorbike trouble means Jimmy is first to meet her.
Echo Beach. The quiet life of a Cornish beach resort is disturbed by the arrival of "newcomers" who are actually relatives of leading businessman Mark Penwarden, who has an old, deep grudge against his brother Daniel, who returned years after a tragic boat incident to open a surf shop.
Echo Beach was created by Tony Jordan and is set in the fictional seaside town of Polnarren in Cornwall. The story follows the lives of ex lovers Daniel Marrack and Susan Penwarden as well as the teenagers living in the town.
