2 de fev. de 2024 · ディスクガイド. 晩年の主要な作品の一つ。 この辺りの時期から、暗い雰囲気を持つ曲のルバート演奏の割合が増えていきます。 今回で言えば「 I Will Say Goodbye 」「 Seascape 」、次作『 You Must Believe In Spring 』ならば「 B Minor Waltz 」「 You Must Believe In Spring 」「 We Will Meet Again 」など。 たくさんの身内が亡くなっていって、 自身もあと3年の命という時期のこのアルバム 。 どこか物悲しさを感じる演奏も多くなってきます。 高い完成度を誇る次作『 You Must Believe In Spring 』と比べると、こちらはやや選曲に寄せ集め感を感じます。
