The Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science (TAMS) is a two-year residential early entrance college program serving approximately 375 high school juniors and seniors at the University of North Texas. Students are admitted from every region of the state through a selective admissions process.
The mission of the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science is to provide an accelerated education for bright, motivated Texas high school-age students who have demonstrated a passion for STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
