Ria Thielsch (born 25 August 1951 in Manokwari, Netherlands New Guinea) is a former model and an ex-member of the Dutch girl group Luv' (who replaced Patty Brard in 1980). She was officially introduced to the public with the release of the album Forever Yours and the single My Number One (a Top 5 hit in Benelux ).
18 de jun. de 2022 · Ria Thielsch was a great asset to the Luv' concept. She came twice to the rescue of Marga Scheide and José Hoebee when they needed a third member to complete the trio. The fans rapidly accepted her as a member of Luv' and are eternally grateful to her.

Chimène replaced Ria Thielsch who took part twice in Luv': at first between August 1980 and March 1981 and then between March 2016 and December 2018. Ria seemed happy with the group's line-up change.
On January 4th, 2019, the group announced an unexpected line-up change in De Telegraaf: media personality Chimène van Oosterhout replaced Ria Thielsch. This surprising news boosted Luv' in the media.
Behind the scenes, Luv' s manager Pim ter Linde recruited a Patty lookalike: photo model Ria Thielsch (see article posted on August 23rd, 2020). The idea was to hire her for some shows as the owner of a club in Zevenhuizen, the Netherlands wanted to sue Luv' if they didn't perform in his venue.
40 years ago exactly, Ria Thielsch gave her first performance with Luv' as a replacement for Patty Brard. Despite this promising start with Marga Scheide and José Hoebee, it took several weeks before Ria became a permanent member of the group.
