Biography. Laurie Sargent. Mini Bio. Sargent was lead singer of the Boston-based rock band Face to Face who hit the Top 40 in 1984 with the song "10-9-8". Face to Face, which formed in the late '70's, broke up in 1988. Sargent, along with Dana Colley and Billy Conway formerly of Morphine, formed the band Twineman in 2001.
