Topaze is a 1951 French comedy film directed by Marcel Pagnol and starring Fernandel, Hélène Perdrière and Marcel Vallée. It is based on Pagnol's own 1928 play of the same name , which has been adapted for the screen a number of times including a 1936 film directed by Pagnol.
Topaze est un film français sorti en 1951, seconde des deux adaptations cinématographiques réalisées par Marcel Pagnol de sa pièce homonyme. En 1933, la première adaptation française de sa pièce Topaze est réalisée par Louis Gasnier avec Louis Jouvet en vedette.
Sinopse. Albert Topaze, sincero professor viciado em moralidade "mecânica", trabalha em uma escola particular dirigida pelo avarento M. Muche, cuja filha, também professora, faz uso cínico do conhecimento de que Topaze a ama.
