Waterloo Bridge (/ ˌ w ɔː t ə ˈ l uː /) is a road and foot traffic bridge crossing the River Thames in London, between Blackfriars Bridge and Hungerford Bridge and Golden Jubilee Bridges. Its name commemorates the victory of the British, Dutch and Prussians at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.

Waterloo Bridge is a 1940 American drama film and the remake of the 1931 film also called Waterloo Bridge, adapted from the 1930 play Waterloo Bridge. In an extended flashback narration, it recounts the story of a dancer and an army captain who meet by chance on Waterloo Bridge in London.
Thanks to its location on a bend of the river Thames, the views of London from Waterloo Bridge are some of the best around. With the South Bank on one side, and St Paul’s Cathedral and Canary Wharf on the other, there are plenty of great photo opportunities.
O nome foi em homenagem a batalha de Waterloo. É famosa mesmo pelo filme do mesmo nome e as vistas que sobre a ponte (em localização estratégica) são privilegiadas, pois permitem ver quase todas as atrações que ficam a beira do rio.
