Biography. George Neville, Knt., Lord Bergavenny, was the second but first surviving son of Edward Neville, Knt., by his first marriage to Elizabeth Beauchamp. [1] [2] [3] George was born at Raby Castle, Durham and baptized at Staindrop, Durham about 1440 (aged 36 and more in 1476).
