Humphrey Stafford (c. 1425 – 22 May 1458), generally known by his courtesy title of Earl of Stafford, was the eldest son of Humphrey Stafford, 1st Duke of Buckingham and Lady Anne Neville (d. 1480).

Early Life. Humphrey was the son and heir of Sir Edmund Stafford, [2] 5th Earl of Stafford, 6th Lord Stafford, Lord of Tonbridge & Caus and Anne of Gloucester. [3] . He was born at Hereford on 15 August 1403 and baptized in the cathedral church of St Mary there. [4] Marriage.
